Supporting

local sport, community & people

CM Ventures Community

Community at CM Ventures

We believe great marketing goes beyond the brands we build — it’s about supporting the people, places, and causes that make our local community thrive and grow.

As a marketing agency in Redditch, we’re proud to play an active role in local life, giving our time, creativity, and expertise to projects that make a real difference. From local sponsorships and mentoring to design support for community initiatives, our goal is to use our skills to help others grow.

Here's just a few of our initiatives:

Supporting local sport

We’ve been supporting local sport for over three years. We were proud to support Redditch Golf Club as sponsors for over 3 years. This sponsorship helped strengthen the club team, leading them to become West Midlands Golf League Champions in 2025.

We’re now proud to be new sponsors of Tanworth-in-Arden Cricket Club, where we are sponsoring the club’s ladies’ team, TACH Diamonds. They aim to win the Warwickshire Hundred Ball Women’s Softball League and the Warwickshire Women’s Indoor Cricket League in 2026, with our very own Ashley representing CMV both on and off the pitch.

These local partnerships reflect our belief that teamwork, encouragement, and community spirit extend far beyond the office.

Reimagine Flyer & business Card Design

Giving back to Redditch

We’ve also worked closely with Reimagine Redditch, helping to bring creativity and culture to our town through community design projects such as there Where Men Meet, Beach on the Green, and Redditch Pride.

Due to local government funding, we designed and printed for 11 community events. Each event was aimed at supporting people who are experiencing loneliness, facing mental health challenges, or looking to engage with new creative and cultural experiences.

This ongoing community engagement in Redditch reflects our commitment to using design and communication to connect people and create positive change.

Championing the Garden Centre Industry

Beyond our local area, we’re dedicated to supporting the wider marketing and creative industry. CM Ventures proudly sponsors 2 major industry events: the GIMA Awards and the GCA Conference.

These events celebrate excellence and innovation across the garden and retail sectors, something which is close to our hearts as long-term partners to many of the leading garden industry brands such as GIMA, The Garden Centre Association, Durston Garden Products, Taylors Bulbs, Grass Gains, Aggregates R Us, Gravelmaster, Auto Global, Monkton Elm Garden Centre, Blazers Fuels, Bulrush Horticulture, JFH Horticultural Supplies, Potmate and The Colegrave Seabrook Foundation.

Inspiring the next generation

Inspiring future generations is important to us. Claire has delivered Financial Education sessions to a number of Redditch schools throughout her partnership with Redditch Business Leaders. This initiative aimed to bridge the gap between schooling and the workplace, offering students insights, advice, and support in areas such as CV writing, work experience, careers fairs, and financial education.

We’ve also welcomed a number of work experience students from local Redditch schools over the years, giving them a hands-on insight into what it’s really like working within a busy design and marketing agency. From creative projects to day-to-day tasks, it’s a great way for them to experience the industry’s ins and outs and build confidence for the future.

Supporting Charities Close to Our Hearts

Standing together

Our commitment to community extends to the causes that mean the most to us. From Claire’s climb up Mount Snowdon to raising funds for charity, to joining the Race for Life and  Claire & Ashley 100 Miles in aid of our colleague Lucy – a breast cancer survivor, we’re all proud to stand together in support of others.

Taking part in events like these allows us to contribute to the incredible work carried out by various charities –  helping to fund life-saving research and raise awareness.

For us, these moments go beyond fundraising. They’re about supporting each other, recognising the strength of our community, and playing a small part in causes that make a real difference to people’s lives.

Would you like to collaborate on a community project?

At CM Ventures, community isn’t a campaign, it’s part of who we are. Whether we’re designing, mentoring, sponsoring, or simply showing up, we’re proud to use what we do best to make a difference right here in Redditch and beyond.

We’re always open to supporting local initiatives and creative causes that make a difference.
