How to market your website after it’s gone live

So, your new, sleek website has gone Live!…. Now what?

So many companies think, great, my website is live – we’re going to get a stream of booking, enquiries or sales…..unfortunately, this isn’t the case, now comes the hard work, getting people to find your website. No one will rush to buy your services or products if you don’t tell them about it.
So, you want to be found, Right? But how? Well, read on. 

1: Create a Google My Business Account

This is the best way to get found on Google, as people can find you – Plus, it’s free – result! You can add information about your business, business hours, new products or even a cheeky offer. You can even add products, like a catalogue.

Customers can also leave you a review which helps with your Google rankings. 

2: Build on your Content

If Google crawls your site and sees it’s stagnant, it won’t rank you – simple as that. Not only that, visitors to your site want to see you have your finger on the pulse; you’re advising, providing information and answering their search queries.

Try writing a blog to answer a potential customer’s search query or creating an FAQs area on your website.

3: Be Social

Have you shared your super duper new website on social media yet? It’s the perfect platform. You have an audience already engaged.

If your site hasn’t gone live yet, why not run a teaser campaign to build momentum? Or even invite an influencer or guest blogger to write articles on your new website and share them via social media.

4: Go on, tell your Customers

Have you emailed your customers and told them about your new website? If not, why not? You may have a ton of lapsed customers that could re-engage, and E-newsletters are the ideal way of informing them about what’s going on in your business.
