The Garden Industry Manufacturers Association (GIMA) is a dynamic and proactive membership organisation representing the majority share of suppliers and manufacturers operating within the UK gardening industry. Formed over 15 years ago, its goal is to promote the commercial, trading and industrial interests of its members.

The range of services and support provided is extensive, offering something for all members, regardless of their size or heritage. By running key industry networking events, offering targeted business services and tangible financial benefits, membership continues to grow, making GIMA a powerful voice in the gardening industry.

BRIEF:

We were approached by GIMA via our reputation within the Garden Industry to look at re-designing the GIMA website. After successfully redesigning the website we were then asked to re-brand their annual GIMA Awards logo and marketing collateral.

SOLUTIONS:

GIMA’s previous website wasn’t mobile responsive and had a very dated look and feel with very limited functionality. We created a user-friendly members areas where over 600 people in the UK use the site. We also developed a booking area on the site with yearly events.

The GIMA Awards is held at Celtic Manor every year so we created a logo that incorporated the location – the dragon was then born. We then reviewed all marketing literature that was produced and formulated a plan to ensure brand consistency throughout.

WHAT:

We were initially approached to look at re-branding the GIMA website in 2014. After the successful roll-out of the website, we were then asked to look at their Corporate Identity. This then lead into us re-branding the GIMA Awards Logo and producing all marketing literature for the GIMA Awards.
